Our goal is to provide good literature to the English-speaking community of Bosnia & Herzegovina.  Our collection includes various genres but is especially strong in the area of literature and curricula for home schooling.    Come & visit us!
 
You will understand that in order to maintain our library and to ensure the ongoing availability of its contents, we need to charge membership fees.   These are paid three-monthly or six-monthly, both to keep the outlay each time to a reasonable figure and also to accommodate folk who are only in the country for a short time, of which we have a few. 
                                                                                                                                                                                           

 

 

 

           

 

Membership dues:

 

  • Individuals:  8 KM / 3 mths or 15 KM / 6 mths 
  • Couple:    14 KM / 3 mths or 25 KM / 6 mths
  • Family:   18 KM / 3 mths or 35 KM / 6 mths

Loan period and extensions
The loan period for all material is 3 weeks.  All items may be renewed by phone or email unless they are required by someone else.

 

Curriculum material
This material is available for those who are homeschooling their children. Material from this section may be checked out on a 3 / 6 / 12 month basis according to the schooling needs.

 

Overdue charges
Any items not renewed and returned overdue, will be charged a late fee of 1KM per item per week.   

 

Renewals

Renewals must be arranged before the expiry date of the items.  Each borrowed item/collection may be renewed a total of 3 times before overdue fees will be enforced.  

 

Loan limits
Junior picture books: 10 per person
                               20 per family

 

Fiction or non-fiction: 5 per person
                               10 per family

 

DVDs or videos: 1 per person
                        5 per family
